All Hail Cardiel!

I've been hyped on this video part, and actually the whole Sight Unseen video since it came out in 2001.  It clearly depicted the direction skateboarding was heading as we entered the 2000's.  Old dudes (Henry Sanchez) still ripping, heavy hitters (Heath Kirchart, Dustin Dollin) going bigger, younger rippers (Tosh Townend) stepping into the game earlier in life while still getting gnarlier and gnarlier, and of course John Cardiel.  Cardiel's skating is timeless, it's incredible the amount of style and skill he possessed plus how he pioneered and set the standard for skateboarding today.  Rarely do you see someone as well rounded as Cardiel, he could do anything on any terrain.  Since his accident he's been told he would never walk again, but of course Cardiel prevailed and is still out in the streets ripping.  Your going to see a lot from Cardiel in the near future, most likely on a bike but hopefully on four wheels and some maple.  All hail Cardiel.
